Does Mr. Linky need to be spanked? It appears he is not behaving :). Shouldn't he be retired to another area by now?
ReplyDeleteGood choice of muse, Tom. I really enjoyed all the different approaches. Choosing a favorite was tough.

This really was difficult due to the diversity of entries. Loved most of them . . .and kudos to Siobhan for the photographic entry, I know how much that old building meant to her. Here goes:
ReplyDeleteJeffscape - sounds like cronyism but frankly I loved the butterfly effect and the vignettes.
Pattiken - great characters and even though it's unfinished a lovely and compulsive read
Had to toss a coin for third but giving it to Cinnamon for a short sharp look inside a disturbed head.
These lengthier reads are making it much harder to vote. I am wishing we had a short and long category to vote in. I am torn between voting for writing style and the work of creating a longer worthwhile piece. That said:
ReplyDelete1. Tom
2. Cinnamon
3. JeffScape
This may have been the hardest vote yet. Ugh. TORN. Please consider adding categories for entry.

My favourite three takes on this Muse go to:
ReplyDeleteSiobhan - loved the capture of photo #7
She Writes A - for how it stirred the emotions
Jeff/Baino - argh split for choice between these two tales ... but dare I say France over America?
of course I dare, I'm a romantic - so Baino it is then.
Well,well,
ReplyDeleteCinnamon
Tom
She Writes / B
This was a hard vote... Five strong contenders that really could've placed in any order... but...
ReplyDelete1. Patti - "Metamorphosis" - the next part better pay off, or I'm rescinding my vote! :P
2. She Writes (B) - "Cold" - clean, mostly clear, fairly concise... 'bout time.
3. Tom - "Cement Butterfly" - balanced mix of straight and sap with enough Half-Moosisms to remind us whose brain we're in.
1.JeffScape
ReplyDelete2.Tom
3.Baino
You all always make it so hard to choose.
