Well she went there, bad grammar and punctuation notwithstanding, but barefoot and naked into the lives of others. The city of light, pasties and gender reassignment.

Baino!

Baino's Muse will appear on the 16th and Patti's Muse will be posted on the 1st.

C'mon folks. Just over 3 months to the River of Mnemosyne Challenge.... Got some authors in the closet? Bring them forth.

Winner: "In Love, In War, For Lust, Forewarned"

Sometimes it pays to listen to those who have trod the path before you. As they oft proclaim, in love, war and writing, to achieve success, one must sometimes take a risk. Our attentive student, risk-taker and winner this time is

Pattiken!

Patti earned our kudos for undertaking the hair-raising experience of stepping way outside her comfort zone. You can read her story of different sort of  hair-raising experience here:

Reminder: "In Love, In War, For Lust, Forewarned"

Are you winning the war of love, or losing a battle with lust? Wherever you are in your campaign, be forewarned. Your time to score is running out.

P.S.  Don't forget - now's the time to get a jump on your worthy competitors in the River of Mnemosyne Challenge next February.. There are some really talented writers listed on your blogroll. Surely some of them would welcome the challenge of 10thDoM. The more participants you bring in before the end of the year, the greater your advantage in the River of Mnemosyne Challenge.

Here's how it works:
  • Bring in a first time player and you'll score 3 points.
  • Revive a player who hasn't played since 2010 and we'll slip you 2 points.
  • Bring back a player who hasn't been involved since June 2011 and you'll get 1 point.
  • Make sure to tell everyone you bring in or bring back to let the admins know who recruited them. They can notify us by comment or email.
Whoever has the most points as of January 1st, 2012 gets to pick the opening Muse for River of Mnemosyne. Which probably means the winner gets to the pick the first two RoM Muses, since their first part should be ready to go as soon as the challenge starts.

How can you pass that up?

"In Love, In War, For Lust, Forewarned"

JeffScape fears that mixing love and war could make for a dangerous situation, and as he often is, he might just be right. Be vigilant, lest your sweet nothings whispered in the heat of battle or the height of passion lead to dire consequences.
