There is no restriction to the type of entry here. Prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography, art, audio, video... if it fits the Muse, it is welcome.
1. Tom - for one hell of a ride. I longed for demons, but even without them, the story was great.
2. JeffScape - for a different twist on the oft-told story of the grozzled old sharpshooter facing down the young hot-shot gunslinger on a dusty street in the lawless wild west.
3. Baino - for giving the bastard what he deserved.
First two for me are no-brainers. Third one... hmm...
1. Siobhan - "Bad Medicine" - cleanest, most balanced. 2. Tom - "Right of Qi" - most epic, most potential, best style (as far as smoothness of readability). 3. She Writes - "Remembering Mom" - good, honest emotion... Muse is weak, though, and almost made me change my vote.
Not easy this time round, the quality not as good as in the past even if the variety was there. Myself included. Just couldn't wrap my head around this one. 1. Tom...a long piece but well written, good characters, lost a little clarity at the end but well done nonetheless 2. Siobhan who manages to pull one out of the hat.Great concept, short and sweet and in her trademark angsty style. 3. Harder, much harder. Loved She Writes honest piece from the heart, Patti's was fun but just didn't quite get ther... but from a creative aspect, gotta give this one to Jeffscape Reply
